Primer volumen en una serie de álbumes explorando memes del español y la cultura puertorriqueños a través de títulos jocosos e irreverentes, a la vez que estudiaba y practicaba técnicas compositivas y de producción. En Batata no me había casado con la idea del jugar con humor y dichos puertorriqueños, de manera que algunos títulos son chistes mongos que amo hechos por amigues que amo más. La música en estos álbumes es resultado de composiciones trabajadas y editadas desde el 2017, con una historia visual sobre vejigantes y un sancocho sicodélico por Ivia Pantoja.

First volume in an album series exploring memes of Puerto Rican Spanish & culture through humorous and irreverent song titles, while studying and practicing composing and production techniques. For Batata I wasn't yet committed to the idea of focusing on Puerto Rican jokes and sayings, so some are dumb joke titles I love suggested by people I love even more. The music within the album series resulted from composing and reworking pieces since 2017, with a visual story about vejigantes and psychedelic sancocho by Ivia Pantoja.
